We are a Greater Boston-based company. We provide service for our hike and camp programs in Newton, Waltham, Watertown, & Belmont.
For private training sessions, we service the locations above as well as Framingham, Dedham, Sudbury, Leominster and more! We will travel within an hour from Newton. Travel fees may apply.
As of winter 2024, we’ve expanded to New Ipswich, NH and will be servicing surrounding towns.

Yes, each team member is certified in CPR and Pet First Aid!

We at Dog Adventures are holistic based trainers, meaning we look at each dog as a whole, and take into consideration the dog’s emotional and physical well-being. We customize the training program based on your dog’s unique needs.

No, your dog does not need to be neutered or spayed for training or camp. Dogs are invited to join the hiking group on a case by case basis.

We use a handful of training tools including food, praise & affection, clickers, muzzles, crates and more. We also use a series of pressure-based tools such as martingales, slip-leads, star marks, prongs and e-collars. We do not suggest using these tools without a demonstration from one of our experienced trainers.

Hike Cancellation Policy
Day of cancellation (any notification after 12am) is full price of the hike service
Cancellation after 5pm the day prior is half price of hike service (5pm-11:59pm day prior)
Board Cancellation Policy
Full price of board service is due if the cancellation happens within 48 hours of board service
50% of the board service is required if the cancellation happens within 7 days prior
Training Cancellation Policy
If you cancel or reschedule your session within 24 hours of the session you are responsible for paying the full price of the session
Wedding Cancellation Policy
A 50% non refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking. The full amount of services are due if canceled within 30 days of the date

We use Pet PocketBook for all our billing and scheduling. Pet Pocketbook does have surcharges, however, we do allow check and cash payments if you wish to avoid them.
Payment is due the Monday after services for the prior week. For boarding we require a 2 night deposit for a stay over 4 nights.

Pet Pocketbook is our method of scheduling and payment. It also provides us a means of keeping client information up to date. Please message us with any questions you may have with the system.

If you and your dog are enrolled in one of our programs, you have access to our boarding service. We will continue the training throughout the board. Please request boarding dates via Pet Pocketbook messaging.

Yes, your dogs will be in the woods and exposed to ticks. Ticks are unfortunately year-round, and become more active in the spring/summer. We HIGHLY suggest owners use topical flea/tick prevention such as K9Advantix.
