Amanda is great! Chewie started off with Mary at Petco, but when Amanda took over she fell in love--Chewie is now 1 year old and we are constantly told how well behaved she is. Amanda came for a private home lesson when there was some regression after our honeymoon & she had Chewie back to her listening self! Chewie only barks now when she has to go out or when she hears her best friend, our 82 year old neighbor, come and go so she can say hi!

Amanda is by far the best trainer around. After bringing my new pup to her just a few times her “pup like behavior” had mellowed out so much. My dog’s behavior has drastically improved and after only a few training sessions I’ve seen day and night improvements. I would give Amanda 6/5 stars if it were possible!

Ellie has been training with Dog Adventures since she was 8 months old; working on obedience, ecollar training, and continued socialization. I am incredibly thankful to have a group of individuals I trust to take my dog out on group hiking adventures and to have peace of mind knowing my dog is safe and happy at boarding. Ellie is always so excited to see each trainer and loves spending time away from home with them.

Dog Adventures is the best! We’ve used Dog Adventures with both of our dogs for everything from puppy training to off leash hikes and boarding. Our dogs are complete opposites and Amanda and the team tailored each dog’s training and programs to their individual needs. They are always available to answer our questions! It is genuinely the best part of our dogs’ day when they get to spend time with the team. They’ve helped us become better dog owners and taught us so much along the way. We can’t recommend them enough.

We cannot praise Dog Adventures, Amanda, and her entire team enough. We started taking our golden retriever puppy, Moseley, to Amanda for training at about 10 weeks and she was so accommodating and professional. We would meet at different places to expose him to different environments, she would work so intentionally with him and then let us know what we should be doing at home. You can tell that she loves what she does and truly cares for the dogs she works with. If we ever had questions or concerns she would always encourage us to text her and she has been beyond helpful.

We trained Moseley on the e-collar, based on the Dog Adventures suggestion, and although we were nervous about it at first, Amanda and her team were very caring and understanding throughout the process…and now we recommend that every dog parent we meet train the e-collar and go to Dog Adventures if they can!

We are lucky to be able to send Moseley on hikes throughout the week with Dog Adventures and it is his favorite time each week (I have to get a video of him running to the Dog Adventures team when they pick him up - it’s the cutest!). They work on training with him each hike, post so many videos and pictures on Instagram so we can follow along and see how happy he is, and will always follow up with any advice for things to work on when he gets dropped off. They are truly the best - Moseley loves every Dog Adventure team member and it just shows how much they care for the dogs they work with.

We’ve also used Dog Adventures for boarding and I swear he’s slightly disappointed when we pick him back up because he had so much fun staying with them! It’s hard to find people that you trust with your dog, but I can confidently say that I trust them completely and he has a great time!

We also asked Amanda/Dog Adventures to help us have our dog at our wedding. She was absolutely wonderful with him, which made the entire experience stress free and so enjoyable. We had my 2 nephews walk him down the aisle and she worked with them to make sure they were comfortable. She helped keep him calm and engaged in all the chaos of the wedding day. It was so great that we were able to have him there on our big day and know that he was in great hands.

I cannot recommend Dog Adventures and each and every team member enough. They are truly the best and I’m more than happy to connect with anyone who wants to hear from a proud Dog Adventures Pup Parent about looking to send their own dog to any of Dog Adventure services.
